In 2021, TW Profine products were found to be compliant with the regulation
KUK Regulation 4, achieving WRAS certification
following tests conducted by Kiwa and WQC.
The WRAS testing service is aimed at products in contact with water to follow them in distribution in the British market. Any installed product that comes into contact with water from the UK public water supply must comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or the Scottish Byelaws.
Being WRAS means having been tested by an accredited body which, in this case, has scientifically analyzed the following parameters:
– Odor and flavor of water testing,
– Appearance of water,
– Growth of aquatic microorganisms (MDOD),
– Extraction of substances that may be of concern to public health testing,
– Example of extraction of metals reporting format.
For the TW Profine team it is very important to obtain the WRAS Approval because this certification plays an important role in the English market. Products with the following certification can be installed in the UK in full compliance with current laws.
